The only way you can submit a claim for missing donations is if we have tracked your visit to the retailer from our website, app, or Donation Reminder.
If you can’t see the retailer in our claims list, here are a few possible reasons why:
✅ Is the date correct?
Many of us browse before we buy, so you may have visited the retailer on a different date. Check your receipt or email confirmation for the correct shopping date to make sure the claim date matches.
✅ Did you shop directly through the retailer?
If you didn’t go through Give as you Live Online to shop, unfortunately, we cannot provide a donation as your visit wasn’t tracked through us. To make sure you receive a donation for your charity every time you shop, download our Donation Reminder or app.
✅ Were you logged into your account?
If you weren’t logged into your account, your visit wouldn’t have been tracked, and no donation would be added.
✅ Are you having tracking issues?
If your donations aren’t appearing in your account, there may be tracking issues. For more information on technical checks you can perform, see here.
✅ Are you shopping in the UK?
Give as you Live Online is currently optimised for UK charities and UK purchases. Because of this, we cannot guarantee donations for purchases made outside the UK.
✅ Is the retailer eligible for claims?
Some retailers on Give as you Live Online are unable to accept claims for missing donations. For example, eBay does not accept claims and will not appear on the list of claimable retailers.
