This will be an incorrectly assigned transaction. On rare occasions, a transaction may be assigned to the wrong account due to a simple technical error, such as being on the same IP address as another member, or even just clicking through to a website at a similar time.
Ordinarily, these donations are confirmed by the retailer, meaning they have agreed to pay them, and the mistake has happened at their end - meaning they incorrectly think that a purchase made on their site has come from a Give as you Live user and, as such, have assigned a donation.
We can remove this transaction for you or, alternatively, you can keep it in your account and the funds will go to your chosen charity. Due to the way donations are assigned from our retailers this will not have been taken from another member - in other words, it won't have been incorrectly assigned at our end and nobody will be missing it - it's just a bonus donation from the retailer!
Give as you Live Online never see, receive or have access to your bank account or card details, so there is no way that someone could fraudulently use your card details via Give as you Live Online.
