Payments for all Give as you Live Online monies are subject to a minimum of £15 threshold for each payout every month. If you have not reached this threshold, monies will be rolled over onto the next month and once the £15 threshold is reached, will be paid out.
When a supporter has made a purchase through Give as you Live Online your transaction goes through the following stages:
Pending – This means your purchase has been successfully tracked and we are now waiting for the store to approve the purchase.
Approved - This means your transaction has been approved by the store and we are now waiting for the funds to be received from the store. We will then update your total and pay the funds to your chosen charity.
Declined - This means that the store has declined your transaction and therefore your chosen cause will not receive the donation. The retailer does not always provide a reason for when a transaction has been declined. The most common reason for a transaction being declined is if you have used a voucher code or visited the retailer's website using another source, such as a website, email, or push notification. This source would have been awarded the commission instead of Give as you Live Online.
The whole approval process can take on average up to 4 - 6 months, taking into account the typical 28 days we have to wait to allow for refunds and exchanges, but sometimes this can take longer, depending on the types of purchase or retailer.
Paid - This means we have received the approved funds from the retailer, ready to pay the charity. Once we have received the payments from the retailers, donations will fall into the payment routine set in our terms and conditions.
