Once you've downloaded the Give as you Live app from the Apple App Store, follow these steps to get started:
- Open the app – Click through the first three welcome screens by tapping 'Continue'.
- Sign up or log in – You can sign in using Apple, Facebook, or your email address.
- Turn on notifications – Tap 'Allow' when prompted so you'll know when you've raised a donation.
- Enable the Donation Reminder in Safari – The app will show you instructions to enable the Donation Reminder in your browser. Follow these steps:
Tap the icon next to the website address, i.e.
Tap 'Manage Extensions'
Turn on 'Give as you Live Online' (make sure the toggle is green)
5. Grant permissions – Safari will ask you to confirm some permissions. For the Donation Reminder to highlight donation opportunities, please follow these steps:
Tap 'Review' in the banner that appears
Tap 'Always Allow' (second option)
- Tap 'Always Allow on Every Website' (second option)
Once set up, you're ready to start shopping and raising donations!
