Sainsbury's has some terms and conditions which may affect whether you receive a donation from your shopping. These are visible on their store page here: https://www.giveasyoulive.com/stores/sainsburys.
Sainsbury's has recently updated their terms so now they only pay a donation on the initial basket value excluding delivery at first checkout. This means they will not be paying donations on any re-visits to your basket to add or remove items. Only orders with a minimum value of £40 are valid for a donation.
Donations through Sainsbury’s are usually automatic. However, there are exceptions where a claim needs to be submitted. If you are missing a donation from your shop after seven days, you can submit a claim for the missing donation here: https://www.giveasyoulive.com/account/claim/make. We'll then be in contact with Sainsbury’s to investigate why you have not received a donation.
